Hi my name is Rylan and today we just read chapter eighteen of Mr. Poppers Penguins. Today I am the snazzy summarizer.



It was a hot day and Mr. Popper, Mrs. Popper, the penguins, and the kids were in a taxi going to the movie theater to perform. When they got to the movie theater the penguins found out that the seals were up on the stage. That caused problems because the penguins and the seals went down in to the dressing room. The firefighters and the policemen had to come and get out of the dressing room. When Mr. Popper went down there the owner of the movie theater said "You're going to get arrested."

The seals did an act on the stage.

Hi today I am the snazzy Summarizer   and today my summery will be on chapter 18.

Mr. Popper was in Boston, it was warm there and the penguins were realy feeling the heat. Mr. Popper took them up to the roof of the hotel they were in. It looked like they were going to push each other off, so Mr. popper took them back down. When they got to the taxi Mr. Popper made a big mistake.He told the driver  to go to  the  Regal Theater. When they got there  the penguins saw the seals performing so they went  over to the seal's room with them Mr. Popper told the children to get the fire and police departments. When the firemen got there, they wanted to put their helmets on the penguins. When the police men gt there they wanted to put their caps on the  the seals. Just then the the owner of the theater came in and told them they should not be here and have to go to jail for causing all of this commotion.

               I am reading chapter 18 in the story MR. POPPER'S PENGUINS.  At the begining of the story
Mr. Popper is on the roof feeling the cool breeze.  In the mittle of MR. POPPER'S PENGUINS  Mr. Popper goes in a taxi cab.  The driver asks him if he knows if the Swenson Seals are performing with the penguins.  At the end of MR. POPPER PENGUINS the manager calls the cops because the penguins and the seals are obsessed with each other.

     I am brigid and   This week I am the Snazzy Summarizer and I just read chapter 18 of Mr.Popper's Penguins.

My summary is:

It was getting hot for the penguins so they had to go on the roof to cool down. Also Mr.Popper also said the wrong name for a theater and the owner said that he had no business in the theater. The police also put their hats on the penguins,and the fireman put theirs on the seals. They were there because the owner said Mr.Popper trasspassed and for that reason Mr.Popper should go to jail.

               Today I will tell you a summary of what happened in chapter  XVII I hope you will read the book after reading this.
          It was unseasonably  warm in Boston and the penguins felt the heat so Mr. Popper took them to the roof to catch a cool breeze. The Poppers Performing Penguins went to a theater and were dancing with the seals. when the firemen came they put their hats on the penguins, so the police took the seals side and put their hats on the seals. The reason the cops and firemen were there was because the man said the seals would eat the penguins, and then the penguins went over to the seals. So Mrs.Popper called the police.   

Some important things to remember from this chapter are:

• Boston was unseasonably warm
• the penguins met some seals
• The penguins were playing with seals

      Today I was the Snazzy Summarizer and I will be telling you the beginning middle and end of chapter 17 and I hope you will  read Mr.poppers penguins.

       In the beginning of the book The Poppers performing Penguins had to be put in a basement under the stage because an opera singer refused to sing unless they were put away. In the middle The poppers were traveling from hotels and restaurants. In the End It was very expensive with all the things that they needed but they stopped buying the live fish for the penguins and switched back to caned shrimp.

Some Important things to remember are

• The Popper were struggling with money
• The Penguins had to be put in a basement or an opera singer wouldn't sing
• The Poppers Performing Penguins became famous.

I will be telling you about the events in the beginning middle ad end that happend in the book. I hope this makes the book sound more interesting to you. In the beginning of the chapters Mr. Greenbaum is the owner of the palace theater in town and Mr.popper, Mrs.popper, the penguins, Janie, and bill wen off to find the palace theater. In the middle Mr.popper,Mrs.popper,bill,Janie, and all the penguins found the palace theater. In the middle Mr. and Mrs.popper took the penguins, Janie, and Bill into the palace theater. The penguins preformed and the poppers succeeded and they got offerd a job for 5,000 dollars.

Hi today I am the snazzy summarizer  and today I am showing you my summary.

Mr. Popper heard that Mr. Greenbaum  was in town so he decided to go see him.
Mr. Popper took the penguins on the bus but they had to get off because Mr. Popper opened the windows  and so they got kicked of the bus,so they walked the rest of the way.
when they got their the performers were not their  so Mr. greenbaum told them to preform instead.
when the penguins finished every one clapped there hands and the manager gave all 12 penguins ice cream. The two children got some ice cream to.
since all of the people clapped there hands Mr. Popper got a job int he theater for 5,000 dollars a week.

 1st: Seattle is a city in washington.

2nd: Seattle has lots of cold weather.

This is a theater.

Interesting words in a book

          Today I was the word wizard. I will tell you some of the words I have found in the book Mr. Poppers Penguins, What those words mean, and some sentences with that word in it.           Scarcely was one of the words I found. Scarcely means Barely like the sentence Her voice is so low I could scarcely here it. Another word I found was the word Marked. Marked can also mean noted like the sentence The man marked of all the things he had completed on his checklist. 

              I hope you liked this post about some word that I found in Mr. Poppers penguins. If you haven't read the book already go read it it is a good book.

Hi my name is Rylan and I'm the snazzy summarizer. We just fished chapter twelve and thirteen.

Mr and Mrs Popper
decided to have trained
animals to get money.

Mr.Popper had a large freezing plant installed because the penguins were going in the cellar. When Mr. Popper moved the penguins in the cellar they laid eggs and every third day an new egg would appear. Their chicks hatched and they grew at a tremendous rate. Mrs. Popper had a long talk with Mr. Popper about how much money they have. They made plans on how to get money. They decided to have trained animals to get money.

Hi I am the creative connector and today I am going to tell you my connections.

Connection 1: Mr. Popper moved his heater upstairs and a ice plant downstairs. My connection: I had to move something in my basement upstairs and an ice plant downstairs.


Connection 2: Mr. Popper trained his penguins to do curtain things like fight and hold things in there beaks

. My connection: In movies people train dolphins and seals to do curtain things like balance balls on there noses and jump through hoops.
